Pool Rules

 

Before you access the Dock:

• You MUST SIGN our waiver prior to entering the pool area. (see pool waiver)

• No persons are allowed to enter the dock area unless they have signed a waiver.

• Please do not feed your dog at least 2 hours prior to their pool time.

• POTTY your dog before accessing the dock area and several times during your stay. If there is an accident on the dock, please pick it up and use the spray provided to clean it up.

• Maintain distance between all other dogs. No “nose-to-nose” unless the dogs are from the same household or are well known to each other.

• Human or dog aggressive dogs are permitted however they must always be under your complete control and must be handled in such a way that they do not risk injury or stress to people or other dogs.

 

On the Dock and grounds:

• This facility is multi-use. You are signed up for the Dock/Pool use ONLY. Do not open or enter any gates to other areas. 

• The SHOGUN’S ULTIMATE POOL staff may, at any time, ask you to remove your dog from the premises for:

  o Excessive barking

  o Aggressive behavior

  o Lameness

  o Parasites

  o Illness

  o Dirty coat and/or excessively long nails or neglected shedding.

• All dogs on the dock must be under direct handler control.

• Only the dog(s) on dock may be off leash, all other dogs must be leashed, crated or safely in your vehicle at all times.

• Notify staff immediately of any equipment damage or problems.

• Notify staff immediately if your dog has an accident on the deck or in the pool so we may shut the pool down.

• Fines for accidents are as follows:

  o $75 dock accident 

  o $250 pool accident.

• Take mid swim potty breaks to prevent accidents.

• Female dogs in season may not participate in the pool. 

• You are responsible for your dog’s waste, please use the marked potty area for your dog, pick up after your dog and use the bins provided to discard.

• All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the dock, and wear a lifejacket. (not provided) and must have their parents’ consent/waiver signed.

• All children under the age of 18 must have their parents’ consent/waiver signed.

• Bring everything you will need for your dog: towels, water toys, water bowl, WATER, a crate and a life jacket if you have one. We can provide a life jacket if you do not own one. There will be some stored near the dock.

• Bring everything you will need for yourself and be prepared to get wet if you are actively involved in your dog’s swim session,

• You and your dog MUST remain in your vehicle in the parking area while a previous appointment is exiting the premises.

• You MUST NOT swim any dog that has been vomiting, has diarrhea, has a skin condition, and/or has had recent surgery or an open wound.

• During rentals, only 4 dogs max in the pool and on the deck at one time.
